Dear Backers,
First of all, thank you for taking the time to comment on our last update – it has been so interesting to get to know your preferences!
What we had in mind is to offer a simple way to infuse spices or fruits into the water tank to get a naturally flavoured cold drip coffee. Since this would imply the risk of drip channel clog, we plan to develop a filter mesh in order to avoid this drawback.
Given that from your comments half of you are curious and for the other half it is a categorical no, we would love to go on with the development of the filter mesh not with this stretch goal, rather through our BE A TASTER project. Visit https://essense.coffee/en/about/be-a-taster/to know more ;)

Many of you highlighted the fact that a lid would be very useful, so there we go!
During the past few days, we discussed and found a solution with our glass-maker. We are excited to announce our Handcrafted Multi-purpose Lid! You can indeed use it to store your cold brew in the fridge, but also as a glass for this delicious drink. Last but not least, it can come in handy when the extraction is over, you can conveniently remove and place the coffee basket on it. What's not to love?
